Japanese Exchange Parent Testimonials

  • Debbie and Julianna - “I think we have all come to the conclusion that Nao is just going to stay here (Ha! Ha!). Seriously, we have had one of the best experiences of our lives by having Nao stay with us. Thanks so much for bringing her into our lives!"
  • Jill and Carl - Article in the Schuylkill County Extension Fall Newsletter
Congratulations Brooke and family for hosting Madoka from Chiba, Japan. Brooke and Madoka participated in the 4-H Exchange Program this summer. Madoka lived with the family from July 26th to August 20th. For most of you, you can guess that Madoka spent the first nine days in the United States at the Schuylkill County Fair. There she was able to participate in the 4-H Skill-a-Thon contest, become familiar with American "fair food," wash and walk cattle in addition to meeting our county 4-H program and its families. During her stay with the family she also visited Hershey's Chocolate World, Knoebels Amusement Park, Big Diamond Raceway, an alpaca farm and went miniature golfing. All in all, Madoka had an exciting trip and learned a lot about American culture in addition to the family learning about Japanese culture. Thank you again to the family for providing a safe, event filled, and fun loving experience for Madoka.
